Community Groups

OCC is now in the process of developing Community Groups because we believe that building relationships is key for growth in our spiritual journey.  Most of us would have to admit that most change takes place in our life when we've been personally challenged by someone that is close to us.  Our Community Groups are a way for you to comfortably meet new people, and develop relationships that will last a lifetime.  In a world that is pulling our families in a million different directions, Community Groups are a way for you to pull your family back around and spend quality time together.  You can expect to learn, pray and encourage others in your group--with a whole lot of fun mixed in.  Our groups are not meant to make you feel uneasy, in fact, we trust that as you study, watch videos together, or just spend quality time as a group, you will feel so relaxed that you won't want to leave!  We have Community Groups that meet in various homes in the area that meet on different days of the week.  Ideally, we would like to keep our groups between 6 -12 people per group maximum.  Having said that, we are continually in need of launching new Community Groups.  If you are interested in joining a Community Group, Hosting a Community Group in your home, or facilitating a Community Group please email me at: pastordave@obicommunitychurch.org
